Friendly family oriented pub and restaurantThe Fox and Hounds Public House is situated in the village of Clapham just North of Bedford. Recently taken over by Mark Jeffreys in March 2010, Mark's Great Great Grandad William Henry Smith was the first Licensee of the Fox and Hounds in 1876, then known as The Beer House.
The Fox and Hounds is a large friendly house with a superb family garden and two bars. The Public bar offers Pool, Darts all Major sport events on various TV's and has a great atmosphere for all age groups, Hopefully this will become your venue to watch the 2011 RUGBY WORLD CUP AND YOUR FAVOURITE FOOTBALL TEAM.
