Stainton Wines are Independent Wine Merchants located in the thriving market town of Kendal in The Lake District in Cumbria. We have been independent wine importers trading for more than twenty five years. The shareholders are still involved in the business day to day.
Our reputation and integrity is second to none and we are often mentioned in the relevant press, Wine Magazine, Decanter, Which wine etc. We are totally independent which means total freedom of choice which means we only offer wines that meet our strict quality criteria.
The four principal members of staff have a combined total of 100 years in the wine trade, 80 of which have been in this business. Our entire range of quality wine is held at our warehouse here in Kendal and most of the wine comes directly from the producer. We take the provenance of our wines very seriously.
