Rookery Meadow is an outdoor wedding and event venue, offering blank canvas hire of a two acre meadow and private lake.

We help to plan and run your event, making it totally uniqueRookery Meadow is a unique blank canvas venue, perfect for outdoor weddings, celebrations and events.Unlike other venues we have no packages and no corkage charge, helping each couple create a truly unique event to suit their individual tastes and budget.

With two acres of secluded meadow, lined with old oak trees, and a private lake, there is plenty of space and privacy to get creative. As we only host six events a year, you are guaranteed to benefit from exclusive use and all the help and support you need to create your perfect day.

Our venue is ideal for festival weddings, or for more classic country events with a relaxed atmosphere. Choose your style of marquee or tipi, and whether to locate your marquee on the lake front, or in the fenced meadow away from the water. Bring your own food or caterers, or choose from our list of recommended suppliers.

You can also enjoy unlimited free use of anything from our Barn of Curiosities which includes hundreds of accessories from furniture to log slices, tea lights and games. Then let us help you plan your event, contacting and liaising with suppliers to prepare for the big day.

Meadow hire is for three days, and includes help and support to set up the event, break down afterwards and event management on the day to ensure everything runs smoothly.Nestled in the countryside on the Norfolk/ Suffolk border we are within easy reach of the market towns Bungay, Harleston and Halesworth, with plenty of accommodation options nearby.

Guests can also enjoy a night under the stars by camping in the meadow, or bringing a caravan or camper van.Rookery Meadow is based on a family farm and run by Rob and Gemma Walpole who pride themselves on offering a personal, supportive service from start to finish.
