Cuts

Darren Cook is the inspirational founder and artistic director behind the comfortably established Cuts as well as the more recently unveiled Trims. His career started at the tender age of 14 when he mastered the skill of barbering.

By the age of 17 he had become assistant to the legendary Trevor Sorbie, going on to assist Michael Van Clarke (brother of Nicky). Inevitably Darren’s first salon, Space, opened in Northwood, and after 12 years of management and tender attention to his clientele’s tresses, Cuts was opened in 2007.

In January 2013 Trims was established to provide a more traditional barbering service (don’t be fooled by the spectacularly jaw-dropping full-scale custom artwork). The creative team at Cuts have been carefully selected to deliver the highest quality in cutting, styling, colour and barbering.

Tracey Hyatt, Cuts� senior stylist, has 15 years of experience in styling, cutting, bridal and prom hair. She is an Afro specialist, too.
